3 Appointments

How lucky am I to have 3 medical appointments in 3 days!? Knock 'em all out one at a time.

1.) Physical Therapy... my first assessment, detirmining what I need work on and how to work on it. Basically we are trying to strenghen my thighs so they keep my knee caps in place!

2.) My second appointment regarding my Breast Reduction. This is to determine the proper size and shape and to brief me on surgical operations.

3.) My follow up x-rays of my broken leg (which they decided NOT to cast) its been hurting lately, been doing a lot of walking and got back in the gym. I'm going to be honest, haven't been taking my pain pills cause they give me really aweful, freaky dreams.

Yay Me!

Got Me Again!

I have brought up DJ Wars before... we a few things have changed at our Radio Station...

Rob got promoted to oversee all of News and Radio, and I got promoted to his position as Radio boss. Which means he had to come off the air... sad face...

Well stupid me thought "Hey, since Rob won't be around a lot in the studio my facebook page should be safe"

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

Now just in case you don't know... when another DJ gets something on your fan page it stays! But it must be a clean family friendly comment...

Not only did he get something on my page, but he taught his replacement and he got one on their too!

Dang It! War is on!

Bear Bear

I FINALLY got Bear Bear to the hospital! AKA: Sewing Shop he went into surgery today and won't be back home until Tuesday.

In case you are wondering what I am talking about I am talking about my Teddy Bear who is named Bear Bear. He is 24 years old and when I was a kid my mom accidentally ripped his head off and the stitching finally gave out.

Thanks K for offering to sew him for me! I just don't trust the mail.

Well, there is someone new in my life! And he is affectionatley known as Gumby by my friends. So that will be his name here too! Well Gumby is a great leader and was voted so by the folks who work for him, and he WON a free round-trip ticket to the states and he can't use it, so he gave it to me to give to my mom!

Gumby, you are so sweet and so special! Thank you for helping my mom and I spend our Birthdays together!

Moonlight Express

I went to Everland, which is one of South Korea's largest theme parks. Among the folks I was with were members of our entorage, Snickers, Joey and Rob.

The Moonlight Express is a nightly parade by the Everland Staff, where all the characters come out to play all decked out in lights! I wonder what would happen if it rains...

There is also a pretty amazing Day time parade as well.

Freddy 1984 vs. Freddy 2010

I love horror movies, I was raised watching them! My favorite killing franchise is Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare On Elm Street! I recently saw the remake...

The final review from rottentomatoes.com: Visually faithful but lacking the depth and subversive twists that made the original so memorable, the Nightmare on Elm Street remake lives up to its title in the worst possible way.

My opinion? Would have been much worse, I was actually MAD when the movie ended...

Duty Day

Even though I was on duty, I still had a good day, got lots of photo editing done so I feel productive. Played around with some new filters...

All the flower photos were taken at Everland, one of Korea's largest theme parks. It was a lot of fun, even for a cloudy chilly day.

But its not the place that makes it fun its the people you go with! (More on Everland later.)

So what did I do after my productive day of editing? I went and got my nails done, my hair trimmed and a nice, relaxing massage...

Girl Power!

I've had the same ol' DVD player for a while and I've been thinking about upgrading...



Not only did I upgrade to Blu-Ray, I also got surround sound! All in one kit, and on SALE!



My friend Rob helped me pick out the system but non of the guys would help me set it up! Whatever, who needs a man right? So I opened the box and got to work.

There were LOTS of wires, and connectors and convertors... but I got it set up! HAHA! Girl Power!

Got everything out and hooked up, WITHOUT help! But, I was having trouble getting all the speakers working, so I had to ask for a second opinion on my set up.

Turns out that ALL the little wires were correct but 2 connectors were out of order. So its all fixed and running! The only thing that sucks about the set up in my room is that I can't set up the speakers the way they should be set up.

But overall happy with my new toy!

I learned this weekend, that apparently I am NOT a good Wing Man...

Cookout!

So this passed weekend we cooked out! Kabobs, Ants on a log (which I will never let men make again) Fruit salad (which I still can't bring myself to eat grapes... please refer to the blog titled Dreams for more details)

Well for most of the day I was at work (on a Sat) from noon-4, brodcasting from a live event. While I was gone the guys bought the brand new propain grill. Well 4 soldiers put their heads together and whipped this grill into shape! Along with extra parts that they couldn't find a place for! But it stood and cooked all the same.

After eating a TON of kabobs we got hungry for more and grilled up the rest. We didn't have any flashlights so the next best thing was a lamp with an extention cord.

I found this HIlarious! I must have taken 10 pictures of this rig. Cooking by Lamp Light! Love it!
