AIR!

Finally! The Air Conditioning has been turned on!

YAY! Nothing like being deathly ill with a 102-104 fever and NO way to cool off!

But by the Lord's good grace the air is on and my fever broke the other day!

Sick

Hurray, after a horrible temperature and 2 IV bags my fever went down I was given some tylenol and sent home to rest.

Took a 3 hour nap and woke up cause I was so hot... took my temp again it was 104! So I went to the emergency room, only to find out I have strep throat! No idea where it came from. I spent all weekend with the same people we did the same stuff, ate the same food and no one else got sick!

I've been quarantined to my room ever since and have another doctor's appointment in the morning to determine if I'm ok going back to work.

But really what would be the point? Tomorrow is Friday!

Random Thought...

I was looking through some older posts, and as a broadcaster you would think I would have a better grasp on simple things like "Their" "There" and "They're" It should be second nature by now... darn it...

Impatience

We live in barracks, kind of like college dorms, only a bit better. Someone PLEASE tell me why people insist on POUNDING on someone's door 20 million times? If they didn't answer the first 10 million knocks the next 10 won't help!

I have a temporary roommate for the next 2 weeks and this morning I was in the shower and heard someone pounding at the door. (I guess they REALLY wanted to wake her up! Too bad she was already gone!) I don't care who you are, I'm in the shower and I'm not cutting it short for YOU!

It seemed to stop so I got out, and dried off with a brand new fluffy soft towel and low and behold...

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Really?

I didn't have a choice, I had to answer in my towel. But at least my hair wasn't full of soap!

I can't wait to have a home again...

Although sticking with the butterflies!

Its now summer! And our housing air conditioning is STILL not turned on! I am melting at night!

Apparently the air won't get turned on until it reaches 85 degrees outside. Its barley hit 80 yet this year! Pray for hotter weather so that I might cool off!
